It must be my favourite day of the week! All my laundry is done, my lessons are prepared and I can enjoy my boys and work a bit in the garden which is what I am going to do today! October will mark our third year in our new build and there is still so much to do. The garden is big and needs a lot of landscaping and we wanted to do it all by ourself which means it is taking longer than I expected. So today you won't find me in my scraproom but in the garden. 

Today I wanted to show you a layout I made for my last class at My Scrapbook nook. I decided to use Pinterest as inspiration and found this piece.

Et puis pour terminer un petit tuto pour faire des embellissements structurés.

I sometimes feel I can't create any more. No more ideas, nothing! I still yearn to make something but need  a kick boost. Yesterday was such an evening. So .... I took out a kit (September main kit from SC) and gave myself an hour and no more and this is what I made. I am not 100% satisfied but it was a fun process. 

Un petit coup de blues sur le front créatif hier, pourtant l'envie était là. Je me suis lancée un petit défi. J'ai pris le kit de Septembre de SC et je me suis donnée une heure et voici le résultat.

My Scrapbook Nook will be gone in a few days. It is so hard to let go of this amazing place. Saturday I'll be posting my last class on the forum and the blog and I have made something a bit different. I'll see you on Saturday for a final tribute. 

I did make another layout using the September kit. I love they way it turned out and I even love the flowers and I am so not a "flower on layout" girl.

I just LOVE their products and I am beyond thrilled to be on their team for another year. Two layouts (with my spotlight) were featured on their blog on Friday! I used one of my favourite collections: Dear Lizzy. Both have lots of layers, something I really love at the moment. I had so much fun making these and they are now part of my treasured memories.

These are words from the song ANCHOR by Mindy Gledhill. I ADORE her music and her style. She is such a winderful artist and her music is enchanting and inspirational. Here is the song in question. It's one of those songs I listen to at least 10 times a day and this one is so special because I was touched by the lyrics.

Here is one of my anchors. My sweet Elouan. It was his birthday on Thursday and I just can't believe how fast time has gone. He will always be my little one.

His smile make my heart burst with happiness and when I see it I know I am complete. My kids have made me who I am and I love how they teach me to be a better person. Here is a layout I made about his smile. I think I have lots of layouts about my kids' smiles but they are such a happy bunch so why not make lots of layouts about their gorgeous grins ;)
