getting back in the scrapbooking groove. The last months have been very busy and different. I thought that by taking a step back from scrapbooking I'd have more time to breath but once I had no assignments I decided to it was time to get back to music. I enrolled in the music academy and am following classical singing lessons. I'm learning SO much and I am loving every minute of it. My free time has also been filled with physiotherapy to get my back sorted. I have also been working on reducing our family's waste (which has been successfully reduced by more than 50%). My goal is zero waste. Creating has been put aside but I really want to get playing with paper again. So to start things off a layout AND a video. I wanted to use a photo from a photo shoot I did with my niece. She is the cutest thing ever. I opted for a simple design and lots of embellishment layering.

Sea photograph

Our little trip to the seaside in April was just what we all needed. The kids had an amazing time at the beach and my husband and I had time to relax and put our feet up a little. We had awesome weather and the boys even ventured into the cold North Sea. 

I took loads of photos and I'm still working my way through them. Here is a layout I created with a photo taken of Damien and Noé on one of their many search parties. They spent hours looking for crabs, shrimps, and other tiny sea creatures.

My Choice for Scrapaddictes

Hello there. I hope you are all enjoying Spring. Today’s post is a quick layout I made about me. With the end of the school year nearing, I am spending quite a bit of time getting my students ready for their exams so scrapbooking has been neglected a bit. I still need to be creative but don’t have a lot of time so the layouts I’m making are done in about 20-30 minutes. For this layout I used a lot of Crate Paper supplies and I made it really girly. I also used my new doily die from: docrafts (xcut). 

I cut it with my BigShotPlus. It cuts like a gem.

It has been a while since I posted a video on Sunday. I've been filming like mad these last days for a special project. Hope to share soon but for now a little video.

Another video

As I filmed one video I thought why not do another. This layout came together really quickly and yet again I wanted to add some typed journalling. I started each sentence with " I look at you " and added what I feel when I look at my children. Simple but I really loved making it. 

Hello video time

I finally MADE time to film a couple of layouts. I have been spending so much time on school work (even too much) and I needed some creative time. I really enjoyed creating this layout. I made a little poem and used it as journalling.
