Today's hop features Altenew's new stencils. For today's hop, I created a card using the Milky Way Stencil.

I used a die-cut from the Halftone Hearts Die Set and masked off the middle section with some masking tape. I then stenciled the larger hearts milky way with some yellow ink.

I placed the heart on some patterned paper from the 6x6 Black & White Paper Pad, added a center panel and a sentiment embossed on some black paper.

The colours in the set matched the colours in my office/scraproom perfectly so I decided to put them on the side of the cupboard behind my desk and added a couple to the side wall. I love how it adds some elegance and detail to the area and it makes a nice backdrop for my FB Live videos.

The decals are really easy to apply especially to a smooth surface.

July 2019 Stamp/Die/Mask Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Welcome to the July 2019 Blog Hop featuring new stamps, dies, and masks. If you have come from Virginia Lu's blog, you are right on track. You can start the blog hop over on the Altenew Card Blog.

I chose to work with the Crystal Frames Stamp and Die Set.

How to:

Pick a shape from the stamp set that you particularly like and create a background. I opted to use black.
Fill in a couple of these shapes with a sentiment and/or title.
Cut out a different shape using the Crystal Frame die and place them in different spots overlapping the black shapes.
Add your photo. I cut mine out using one of the coordinating dies and framed it with a coloured frame.
Cut out some flowers from patterned paper and add them to the top and bottom of the layout. This will add colour and detail.
