I love the PAF sets as I get to practise my coloring skills. Here I used the Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencils and I am going to make a similar card with the new Artist Markers.

To make my image stand out I added some purple cardstock behind it and repeated the look with the sentiment strip. I love how it turned out.

Today's release is such a fun one and there is something for everyone. I think I love every product in the release but the ones that especially caught my eye were:

Daisies 3D Embossing Folder
Floral Lace Die
Nesting Slim Rectangles Die
Climber Flowers Die Set

My first card was created with the Daisies 3D Embossing Folder which I coloured with Altenew Artist Markers.

I cut out a strip of the coloured daisy panel and adhered it to some black cardstock. To ground the daisy panel, I added a strip of Delicate Stripes Washi Tape and then added the Celebrate Die as sentiment. I coloured the word with the same shades as the daisies.

My second project is a slimline card. I cut out the rectangle shape with the Nesting rectangle Dies and used an aqua colour and some white woodgrain paper.

I cut out the floral and leaf shapes from cardstock I covered with washi tape from Rose Petal and Sweet Dreams Washi Tape Set.

The Branches and Berries Die has some detailed and intricate branch dies which were perfect for some extra detail as were some enamel dots. I love how this card turned out.

My last card wasn't planned at all. I created the product videos for the dies used in this card and had these pieces lying on my desk. I didn't know if I'd every use them so I decided to create a simple card with them. I layered the different rectangles from the Nesting Rectangles Die and added the Floral Lace Die for some intricate detail.

The Celebrate Die is the perfect sentiment and is framed by the smallest rectangle in a dark shade. The card is built up of a series of layers and is super easy to put together. I'll definitely be recreating this is in an array of colours.

Today's release features one of my favourite products from Altenew EVER. I got to get a glimpse of it in January 2020 when I was at CreativeWorld. I loved the size and that it would give me the possibility to practise my watercolouring.

I still have a lot to learn about watercolouring but this booklet is giving me loads of images to practise on and I don't need to worry about stamping.

To colour this image, I used Altenew's Artist Watercolours. I love the soft finish and can't wait to test out colouring images with the Watercolour Pencils.

Altenew Love & Friendship Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Today's release is such a fun release like every release. Just when I think Altenew can't think of anything new, they do and all the products make crafting a pure joy.

I created two projects: a card and a layout.

For the card, I used the Modern Greeting Stamp Set and created a quick rainbow look. For added detail, I used the Modern Birthday Debossing Folder. I love products that can be paired together.

For my layout I used the following products from this release:

Slim Deco Cover Die Set
Queen Anemone Stamp and Die Set

At the moment, I really like clean and simple layouts. I picked two main colours: yellow and purple and paired it with touches of green. I stamped several florals and leaves and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the design, I started with the slim cover die and the photo and created two floral clusters: a smaller one to left over the corner of the die and a larger one to the side of the photo. The clusters create an extra frame around the photo and break up the lines of the die.

A small butterfly adds the third element to create my visual triangle.

For an extra touch of yellow, I used some enamel dots.

I love how just a couple of products can create a simple layout.
