What I love the most about crafting is that the options are limitless. You can add lots of colour or no colour. Create an elaborate project or keep it simple. For me, what matters the most is the joy the crafting brings me.

For this card, I had this vision of something very simple and elegant with a diagonal design and I love how it turned out.

I stamped the daisy image in a mirrored image using my misti tool. I placed the image in one corner, stamped it and then flipped the cardstock 180° and stamped the image again. To create a diagonal line I used some Delicate Dots Washi Tape and stamped the sentiment below following the diagonal line.

I am sure to be using this design again but with a different set. I think a grey colour combo would also look wonderful.

Once September rolls in, many people start looking forward to the upcoming holidays. I prefer to look back at summer so I created a floral card reminiscent of the beautiful roses in my garden.

The Pink Perfection Camellia 3D Embossing folder was the perfect backdrop for my rose created with the Rose Tea Stamp from Altenew and coloured in with Artist Markers: Ruby Red, Coral Berry, Frosty Pink, Bamboo, Olive and Moss.

I love how the white background makes the floral images pop off the page.

Creating layouts have been very difficult these last few weeks. It is hard to work with photos that evokes such memorable moments and at the same time have an overwhelming feeling of sadness and worrying about loved ones. So cardmaking has been my crafty outlet.

I made a card with the Rose Set Stamp Set and used watercolor makers. For a shiny finish I added some metallic watercolour (Silver Sterling) on top. Easy, simple and it took my mind off of things.

It has been such a long time since I crafted. This summer was more about spending time with family. My dad was diagnosed with cancer and this turned all our lives upside down. Crafting just wasn't on my mind.

This month's BAF is so pretty and dainty. I was surprised how easily I was able to craft. Maybe it was because the stamp set made it so easy.

I stamped a whole bunch of flowers with a teal/grey and yellow colour combination. Then I just added some stamped outline leaves and a couple of sequins. To add more dimension, I popped the flowers onto some Altenew Foam Tape.
