Altenew Stamp/Die/Re-inker Release Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway

27 September 2017

Welcome. If you have hopped over from Laura Jane 's blog you're right on track. Today I'm sharing a two projects I made with the new release.

My first project is a layout created with the Pattern Play Circle Stamp set. I stamped the background using some Permanent Black ink from Altenew and my 12*12 Misti. Stamping the background was easy with the Misti.

I kept the rest really simple by just adding some color and a few enamel dots. The title I made by using some washi tape which I placed onto some cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot using one of the Script Dies.

For my second projects I decided to create a card. I'm far from being a good cardmaker but I'm learning from the Altenew card design team. I used the Winter Rose stamp set and paired it with some grey and purple inks.

A blog hop is also an occasion to giveaway prizes.

I created a layout using the set and die. The die was used as mask when stamping the flowers. I kept the layout really simple and only added a couple of die cut leaves from the Altenew Fanstasy Floral die set. For the ink colors I went with the Red Sunset set and the Green fields set from Altenew.

To finish off the layout I used some Rouge Crisp ink that I watered down and splattered over the layout.

Let's catch up ....

17 September 2017

It is always the same... the SEPTEMBER whirlwind. Getting into a new schedule, driving kids to their after school activities etc... The days fly by without me even noticing. And then just like that it is the middle of the month.

I am working on quite a few projects which will be live by the end of the month. It has been a little difficult to create these last days as I lost my Popa last Thursday a little more than 8 months after my grandma Mam passed away.

Today I'll be sharing some of my creations for Altenew and later this week I'll be back with more projects.

For my first project I used the Bold Alphabet Dies as well as the Faux veneer stamp set. I used my favourite colours and introduced lots of white.

You can watch the process video here: Look Process video

The next project was made using the Circled Sentiments set. I created 3 projects and one was a card. I really enjoyed creating this one.  The Fantasy Floral  die is so amazing. It is one of my favourite products from Altenew at the moment.

This project is also made using the Circled sentiments set and I also used the Fantasy Floral  Die again.

And the last one was made using the Fantasy Floral die,
