Feeling all Christmassy ....

Well, I am! I thought I would make something crafty to give to friends or family and came up with this. A little sweet something. I just love the red-green combo for Christmas. Traditional just does it for me. And who doesn't like receiving a little gift.

Crate paper love

I just love Crate paper and the December Kit at My Scrapbook Nook was full of it. Just for fun I played along with the colour combo challenge on the Crate Paper blog and I love the way my page turned out! Layering, white space, thread,  a wee bit of misting,  all the things I really like at the moment. And to top it all it was featured on their blog.

Scrapbooknook Advent calender

If there is a tradition I really like at Christmas it's an advent calender. We do one every year. Sometimes I make one other times I buy one but the kids really like it. At My Scrapbook Nook 25 members signed up to play along. My blog is Day 11. An advent calender wouldn't be complete without a present and here is mine, a card kit. I still have to add some die cuts! we celebrated Damien, Noé and Robin's birthday with some kids from our village. I made this for them and they had so much fun.

I loved this kit as I love every kit I get from My Scrapbook nook. I loved the really masculine colours. Great for layouts about my boys.

A winner and lots to show

These last two weeks have been extremely busy. School reports to be written and loads of projects to make. Did find some time for some projects.  First (insert drum roll) the winner to the class pass for Pretty Paper Party:

Then I did find a bit of time to scrap with my nook kit. I made a layout and a card. Love that the kit is so versatile. I wanted to scrap a picture of Robin in the snow. The colours of the kit were a perfect match.
