I just love Crate paper and the December Kit at My Scrapbook Nook was full of it. Just for fun I played along with the colour combo challenge on the Crate Paper blog and I love the way my page turned out! Layering, white space, thread,  a wee bit of misting,  all the things I really like at the moment. And to top it all it was featured on their blog.

Scrapbooknook Advent calender

If there is a tradition I really like at Christmas it's an advent calender. We do one every year. Sometimes I make one other times I buy one but the kids really like it. At My Scrapbook Nook 25 members signed up to play along. My blog is Day 11. An advent calender wouldn't be complete without a present and here is mine, a card kit. I still have to add some die cuts! And what better way to end a post than say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a sweet friend at my scrapbook nook. Yesterday it was Sherri's birthday. I made her this card using the My scrapbook nook December kit. Happy Birthday Sherri.
