As of September the new Design Team at American Crafts is officially at work. I will miss each and everyone of the girls from the previous team who I admired. They are so talented and I'll be following them vigorously. While hopping from one member to the other you'll get to know us a little better. Making layouts about myself has become a habit now. I can express my feelings and they push me to see myself as I am. They are also lovely memories for my children.
For this layout I pulled out some of my favourite pieces from the Lucky Charm collection . I added lots of flower stickers, and cut out extra flowers from the Mayberry collection. I found that the hints of purple in the Lucky Charm collection worked well with the lavender in the photos.
I added vellum to soften the striped motif on the patterned paper. The journalling was typed on the computer and cut out into banners. Marrying my husband and having my childre have been the best things that have happened to me. Their love has made me a better person and I treasure every moment with them.

Lilith, watching you scrapbook yourself has given me extra encouragement to do the same. For years, I scrapbooked everyone else and ignored me.
