Last month Crate Paper held a collage week. I made a layout but went a little further with the theme and also made a Canvas. I used the Ramdom collection to create a bird and added some chipboard and thickers as title. I also traced out some leaves using one of the patterned papers. I really love making these canvases and this one already has a special spot in our home.

Sur le blog de Crate paper le mois passé nous avons eu une semaine sur le thème de "collage". J'ai fait une page mais aussi un canvas. J'ai utilisé des chutes de papiers dans lesquels j'ai perforé des ronds pour créér l'oiseau. Ce canvas a déjà trouvé une place dans notre déco!

Inspiration Board 219 is up on ColorCombosGalore. I love the colour combo but really wanted to tone it down so I went with the lighter colours as base and added pops of brighter colours. I also made some flowers use TRIMS from Crate Paper as well as some brads. Would love it if you could play along! Definitely check out the other DT members creations! They are stunning! Click here.

Little white suit

My father (love ya dad) is also an avid photographer and we have lots of pictures. The only downside is that when I was small digital didn't exist! I wasn't going to rip out photos from my parents' album just for the sake of scrapbooking. Well my Dad who likes little gadgets bought one of those things you use to scan old negatives and in no time your old picture has become a tiff/jpeg file. So now I've got loads of pictures to scrap over and over again!! One of them was this one of me in a cute white suit! Now if you ever see something similar (in adult size say size 6 or 8) please tell me. I would love to wear a suit like that. Just because I like that suit I had to make a layout (took me no longer than 20 minutes! RECORD!) I used the lovely March My Scrapbooknook Kit and I must say I think the yellow patterned paper with the doilies is my favourite!

Mon papa m'a récemment fait parvenir toute une série de photos de quand j'étais petite. Il a passé beaucoup de temps à les digitaliser et quel plaisir de revoir ces photos et de les scraper. Voici une de moi habillée dans un ensemble blanc! Si jamais vous voyez un modèle similaire taille adulte (38) faites moi signe! La photo attendait d'être scrapée. J'ai utilisé le kit de mars de My Scrapbook Nook et je dois dire que j'adore ce papier jaune!!!!

 

The Nook did it again ...

Yes, Pam and Leah put together another FABULOUS kit. Each time when I think I have had the best kit ever I get another gem! Before showing my layout made with the March kit, here's a card. I still had some leftovers from the February kit and made this for Danni's so cute inspiration challenge.

Back to reality but ...

still dreaming of many wonderful things. I have always liked travelling and really want to visit loads of places but this is one of the many dreams I have put on hold (only for a while). Travelling with 4 kidos under 8 is quite stressful and neither I or my husband see ourselves going to the other side of the world with them just yet. We love our mini trips and for the meantime they are all we need. At the same time I haven't stopped dreaming! To document this I decided I would make a layout. I used the World Traveller Stamp set from SwissGirlsdesigns. 

Dur, dur de recommer le travail mais je rêve encore. Des rêves de voyages et de découvertes! Une petite page faite avec les tampons SwissGirldesigns s'imposait!
