Altenew May 2023 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Today I have several cards to share with you. The first one was created with the Craft A Flower Fragrant Peony Layering Die Set. I opted to use the new Glitter Gradient Cardstock (Golden Sunrise and Blue Crystals). Some metallic watercolours create a fun backdrop for the pretty flowers.

The next series of cards were created with the Craft Your Life Project Kit. The first two cards were made with the Marigold Butterflies Set. If you subscribe this month you will get the June release which it the Botanical Line Art Set. I have posted a card featuring that set.

This month I was in a glittery mood so one again I used some metallic watercolours. I coloured the Embossing Folder from the Marigold Butterflies Set with Altenew's Metallic Water colours and added a Butterfly which I stamped in black and coloured in using some crisp inks and a blending tool. This is an easy way to colour in your stamped images.

As I had made several butterflies I created a second card using two of them. I added a vertical element using Slim Washi tape which I placed in the centre of the card. A sentiment in the middle finishes it off.

Here is a look at the June Craft A Life release. This line art is so fun. I used it as outline and then coloured the petals and leaves using zentangle motifs.

Welcome to the November 2022 Marvelous Monthly Blog Hop and Giveaway. I am the last stop on the blog hop but if you have just joined you can start the hop over on the Altenew Blog. If you have hopped over from Jenny Colacicco's blog, you are almost done.

I created two projects with this month's release (and another which you have already seen on the Altenew Card blog).

My first card was created with the Craft You Life Bewitching Rose Project Kit. I love how easy it is to use these sets and create pretty projects.

My my card I used the following products:

Craft You Life Bewitching Rose Project Kit
Celebrate 6x6 Paper Pack
Spring Bouquet Crisp Ink Set
Tropical Forest Crisp Ink Set
Warm and Cozy Crisp Ink Set
Permanent Black Ink

I embossed the image using a subtle patterned paper from the Celebrate 6x6 Paper Pack. Then I used the coordinating stencil and coloured the different elements using an array of inks. The I cut out my image and popped it on some patterned paper using Altenew Foam Tape. I love how the patterned paper still shows through the layers of ink.

For my second project I used the Craft A Flower Sulfur Cosmos. I love this set so so much. I created my own coloured paper using Altenew Watercolour Brush Markers and some watercolour paper.

This set is super easy to put together and the florals are such a great size.

Welcome to the September Marvellous Monthly Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from Kinjal Trivedi's blog you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog.

For this hop I created two projects. A layout using the Craft A Flower tulip Full Bloom Set and a card with the Paint A Flower Hibiscus.

For my card, I started by stamping the image onto some watercolour paper. Then I colour the images with the Altenew Watercolour Brush markers.

I cut out the the floral images with my scissors and placed them on some patterned paper from the Celebrate Collection.

For my layout I also used the Celebrate Collection. I cut out the tulip floral shapes from patterned paper and made sure to have different hues of pink and peach. I put together the flowers which was very easy as the parts have little punched shapes that will guide you. All I had to do was assemble the pieces and then create my layout.

The Craft A Flower Dies are my favourites to use on my layouts. They make crafting super easy and fun and instantly fill up a scrapbook page.

September 2022 Winter Magic Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the Winter Magic Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from the ever so talented Caly Person, you are right on track. If not, you can start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog .

For this release I created a winter themed card. I was happy to created a card referencing the cold. Europe has been having a heat wave and I think all of us would like a couple of degrees less. This card will have to do.

I used the Layered Snowflakes 2 Die Set (there is a Layered Snowflakes 1 Die Set too!!!) . I used papers from my paper collection. A lot of these papers are from the Altenew 6*6 Paper packs. I cut out various flakes and then assembled them. For extra dimension I used foam tape. An enamel dot in the centre adds the finishing touch. For my sentiment I opted to use the Winter Typography Set with coordinating die.
