Altenew August 2022 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

12 August 2022

Welcome to August 2022 Marvellous Monthly Series Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from Caly Person's blog you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog

This month I got two products:
  1. Craft-a-Flower Open Peony
  2. Build-a-Garden Daffodil Delight

Peonies are my favourite flower. There are so many varieties but my favourite ones are those that are very dense and have lots of petals. The Craft-a-Flower set reminded me of those pretty layered flowers.

I decided to keep the card very white and create a yellow flower. For extra detail I popped the flower onto an embossed card base which I embossed using the Flower Bed Embossing Folder.

The second card was created with the Build-A-Garden Daffodil Delight.  I created yellow and pink toned flowers and added some thin washi tape for detail. The colouring stencils make it super easy. I prefer using stencils to layered stamping.

What is your favourite out of the bunch?
