Altenew Craft Your Life Project Kit: Elegant Motifs Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

12 November 2021

Welcome to the Craft You Life Elegant Motifs Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from my dear friend, Virginia Lu's blog you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog.
Let's have a look at this Craft A Life Kit.

Craft Your Life Project Kit: Elegant Motifs Product Description:

Stay awesome in your craft room with some delightful eye-catching designs!  Enjoy our Craft Your Life Project Kit, an exciting monthly package that is sure to get the creative juices flowing! Featuring a 6x8 stamp set, coordinating die set, as well as a stencil and embossing folder to fit the theme, this project kit has almost everything you need to start crafting. Just add ink and cardstock, and you'll be good to go!

This kit features a stamp set including five gorgeous floral motifs that will add a touch of classic elegance to any of your projects. The set also includes a detailed colouring layer for the leaves alone and five versatile greetings. The stencil set is perfect for quickly and efficiently adding colour to the Elegant Motifs Stamp Set images! Add a base layer and details to the flowers, leaves, and decorative swirl images with your favorite ink colours. The accompanying embossing folder is perfectly sized for slimline cards or borders for scrapbook layouts.

For today's hop I decided to create a simple and elegant card using the embossing folder, stamp set and coordinating die. I chose one of the stamps and stamped it onto some cardstock. I coloured the image with some grey shading pencils and then cut it out.

For the background I cut out a piece of white cardstock to the size of a slimline card and then embossed it with the embossing folder. Use a thick good quality cardstock to prevent creasing whilst embossing.

Place the image on the embossed area and add a sentiment. To make my sentiment stand out, I doodled some lines around the edges.

So what do you think about this new project kit? It is stunning, isn't it?
