Altenew September 2018 Holiday Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

12 September 2018

Welcome to the September 2018 Holiday Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop. If you have come from Vicky Papaioannou's blog then you are right on track. You can also start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog .

On the Scrapbook Blog I created a non holiday related layout but for my blog I decided to go with the Christmas theme and created a decor piece.

I used the Holiday Bow set and stamped and cut out different images.

For the background I pulled out some traditional coloured cardstock. From the green paper I cut out the Cozy Flannel cover and popped it onto some red cardstock.
I layered my different elements together into the frame. I decided not to use the glass frame so that I could add some dimension and it also enabled me to let certain elements flow over the wood.

You can see how I created this project in the video below or watch it in HD on YouTube.

Below are the three products I used from this new release.

GIVEAWAY

I will draw a lucky winner to receive a $30 gift certificate. Just leave a comment. The winner will be announced on September 26th.

Such a beautiful creation!!I've seen other people make home decor projects like this before and they always ĺook amazing. I've thought of making one myself and I start but then. I stop as I think it looks cheesy. I love yours though, especially with the wood frame. Great idea to leave off the glass. I'll have to try again. Maybe some Christmas decor. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us today and for the wonderful inspiration!
