On the Scrapbook Blog I created a non holiday related layout but for my blog I decided to go with the Christmas theme and created a decor piece.
For the background I pulled out some traditional coloured cardstock. From the green paper I cut out the Cozy Flannel cover and popped it onto some red cardstock.
I layered my different elements together into the frame. I decided not to use the glass frame so that I could add some dimension and it also enabled me to let certain elements flow over the wood.
Below are the three products I used from this new release.

I love this creation because it reminds me of home, comfort and the simple time of the past when I was growing up. A few sprigs of fir with a bow, what else do you need, but family?
