Altenew July Stamp and Die Release Blog hop and Giveaway

Welcome to the July 2018 Release Blog Hop. If you have come from Svitlana Shayevich's blog, then you are right on track.
For today's Blog Hop I created two layout for my personal blog. For the first I used the Circle Embroidery Hoop Die paired with the Embroidered Blooms Stamp set. 
I cut out the embroidered circle out of a thin cork sheet. I created my own flowered background with the Embroidered Flowers set and cut out some flowers but also used it to created the hoop around the cork circle.

I made a hoop with a cork interior and one with the flower patterned interior. I used some gold speciality paper from Altenew for the hoop screws.


Some enamel dots finish off the layout.


My next project was a mini book made with the Oval Embroidery hoop. I also created some stitched butterflies using the Cross Stitch Die. 

 I coloured some flowers from the Botanical Garden Set using the Alcohol markers from Altenew.
For the inside pages I kept things simple using white cardstock and some patterned paper or patterned paper elements.

Altenew FB LIVE

Just popping in to share the layout I made on Monday's FB live for Altenew. I used the Circled Sentiments set to create some fun embellishments for my layout.
 I used several different colours and made some circles with shades and gradients using a finger dauber.


The Leaf Canopy Stamp set was perfect for adding some foliage and I did lots of fussy cutting on one of the patterned papers from Altenew.

Love the different shades in the circles and there are endless possibilities.

Altenew Color Therapy Blog Hop

This is the layout I created for my blog post.

I used the Ditsy Print Stamp set to create a background on a piece of leftover white smooth cardstock. The I used the Altenew Alcohol markers to colour the flowers and leaves.

I picked out Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades for the green hues and Buttercream, Mango Smoothie, Lavendar Fields and Soft Lilac for the yellow and purple tones.

I used the design to set off the title which I created with the Alphabet stickers from the Reflection Scrapbook collection. Then I created layers with different patterned papers from the Reflection and Our Family Scrapbook collections.

Altenew July 2018 Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the July 2018 Stencil Blog Hop and Giveaway. Today Altenew released its newest stencils and they are such fun to work with. For the Altenew Scrapbook Blog I created 2 projects using the Elegant Swirls, Feeling Dotty and Flowing Drops stencils. For the layout on my blog I decided to use the Aztec Motif stencil.

I picked some fun primary ink colours and used my mini daubers to add colour to the different parts. Using these tiny blenders makes the process super easy.



I flipped the image horizontally and repeated the process to create a mirrored image. 
You could also continue and flipped it vertically.
The title was made with an acetate word from the Reflection Scrapbook collection and I also picked a flower sticker from the Our family collection. I felt that top was a little bare and looked through my Altenew scrap paper stash. I found similar coloured patterned paper scraps to the ink colours and cut our some triangle shapes to create a banner at the top.

This layout was so easy to create and I had such fun.
