Altenew Watercolor Pan Release and Blog Hop.

Today we finally release the Watercolor Pans. The pan is FABULOUS and I love the colours.


This beautiful set of 36 vibrant watercolor half-pans coordinates perfectly with our line of ink. They are intensely pigmented and fade minimally when drying. They are stored in a convenient plastic case, designed with space for your brush (included) and a palette in the lid for mixing.

Altenew July Stamp and Die Release Blog hop and Giveaway

Welcome to the July 2018 Release Blog Hop. If you have come from Svitlana Shayevich's blog, then you are right on track.
For today's Blog Hop I created two layout for my personal blog. For the first I used the Circle Embroidery Hoop Die paired with the Embroidered Blooms Stamp set. 
I cut out the embroidered circle out of a thin cork sheet. I created my own flowered background with the Embroidered Flowers set and cut out some flowers but also used it to created the hoop around the cork circle.

I made a hoop with a cork interior and one with the flower patterned interior. I used some gold speciality paper from Altenew for the hoop screws.


Some enamel dots finish off the layout.


My next project was a mini book made with the Oval Embroidery hoop. I also created some stitched butterflies using the Cross Stitch Die. 

 I coloured some flowers from the Botanical Garden Set using the Alcohol markers from Altenew.
For the inside pages I kept things simple using white cardstock and some patterned paper or patterned paper elements.

Altenew November 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

If you have come from Erum Tasneem's  blog  you are right on track.

Today we are releasing 12 stamps and 8 die sets. For this layout I used the Golden Feather and the Snapshots set. I started off with a grey base added two ink colours which I used to create some embellishments (hearts and stars which I cut out by hand). 


My favourite stamp in the snapshots set is the camera. I stamped it and cut it out. I kept the rest of the layout simple so that the photo and the camera stayed the main focal point.


You can see how the layout came together in the video below. This time I didn't have time to do a voice over so it'll be a music video.

Altenew May 2017 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway *closed*

Welcome to a new release from Altenew. I was over the moon when I found out that Altenew was going to release embossing powders. THEY ARE AMAZING.

I created three layouts for this hop and I think your'll see which stamp is my new favorite (Halftone hearts) . I stamped and then embossed some of the hearts with clear embossing powder. I then cut them out. The white embossing powder is fabulous and really crisp. I took the sentiment I LOVE YOU and embossed it onto some black cardstock. 

                      



For the next layout I used several stamps. I used the 365 stamp set to stamp a border and created a background with the Pattern Play Diamond stamp set and the Watercolor Frame set. I also embossed with the butterflies with Translucent Pearl. They turned out so sparkly.
                        






For my last layout I went back and got the heart stamp back out. I just couldn't resist. I added a text stamp from the Layered letters AFG stamp set. I created my own wood and epoxy button using ink, a punch and some clear embossing powder.
