I haven't been on the Scrapaddictes Design Team very long but they made me feel at home immediately. I love working with them and we get to celebrate the 1st birthday tomorrow but today I and all the team would love to congratulate Ana on her first year running her business. We made a little video just for the occasion. Pop back by tomorrow for a sneak of my tutorial which I made especially for the occasion. 

Bubbly

This week I was the first time I got to post on the Scrapaddictes blog. I created a layout with a photo Robin blowing bubbles last spring. I am going through all my spring and summer photos at the moment as I am longing for warmer weather. Winter is way too long. 

I used the beautiful Gossamer Blue collection and some Crate Paper. I really love the soft pastel tones which I believe work really well with the black and white photo. I added a couple of punched out circles to accentuate the bubble theme.

Lovely

When winter is coming to an end or at least I hope it is, I always seem to have a walk through memory lane and I go through my summer or spring pictures. I came across these from our summer vacation and I was whizzed back in time to those lovely family moments. 

Sometimes photos speak a thousand words: Elouan's smile, his arms around my neck and even my smile show how happy we are. 

This second picture was taken on a boat trip with the boys. Noé was thrilled to go on the boat but was also the most frightened as it went really fast. He enjoyed it immensely.

Patchwork

Back with another layout. In one of my Studio Calico kits there was a patterned paper which had irregular rectangles on it. I loved the colour combination but didn't want to use the paper as one piece so I decided to cut it up and use the shapes to recreate a little patchwork. Yet again I kept it simple but I still added some fun details like adding some watercolour to the stamped title and adding a bit of stitching.

Big Titles at Scrapaddictes

As some of you might know I have joined the Scrapaddictes design team. It is a Spanish online scrapbooking store which has amazing products. 

My first layout was for the big title challenge. I decided to try out the free cut letters.

Scrapbook Expo

Paige Evans contacted me some time ago asking if I wanted to be featured on the Scrapbook Expo blog. It was stupid to refuse. My feature went up yesterday. You can check it out HERE.

How sweet ...

Just popping by to show a layout I created using my Silhouette Cameo. Still love using it. I go through periods when I make most layouts with it and then I switch to something else. I have had it for 4 years now and think it is one of the best investments I made. 

Sweet Boy Of Mine

Playing along with a challenge on the Studio Calico blog where we were challenged to lift a DT member. I picked a layout made by Céline Navarro.

This is what I came up with. As background I used an amazing patterned paper by Glossamer Blue from the Gramercy Road collection. I LOVE this line.
