Today is the official start of spring and we had a wonderful spring day. Mild temperatures and lots of sun.

It also means the bikes are out again ... Where did my baby go?

I also have a layout and a mini to show you using American Crafts products. They were made for publications some time ago.

The layout appeared in an issue in Esprit Scrapbooking using Garden Café. LOVE THAT COLLECTION.

The mini was made for Scrapbook Trends Mini Books.

Well yesterday I showed you a picture with a selfie and today a picture taken by one of the boys. I love fashion and thought it would be nice to make a layout about it. I used Glitz Design collections for this page and some glitter paper as we are focusing on GLITTER this week on the Glitz Design blog. There is also a monthly challenge so hop on over and play along.

Scrapping ME

For years I'd only use pictures of my boys. I hated seeing myself in a picture but not only that I hated how I looked. I have worked hard to accept the way I look. I have also worked on eating clean and working out which has helped as I have lost over 40 pounds over the last 15 years. What has also helped me is taking selfies. I might seem idle and silly but since I started taking pictures of me with my phone and taking pictures of clothes I buy I had come to embrace that image of me and can say that I enjoy getting in the picture now. Here is a little layout all about SELFIES AND INSTAGRAM. The best therapist I have ever had.

I guess I just had to be BRAVE.

Love this Lane ... Glitz Design

As time passes I am more and more aware of my surroundings and often feel the urge to stop and look more closely at the places I see every single day. I have noticed that the more I stop the more beauty I see. This layout has a photo of the lane I drive on every day when I go to work. It could be just an ordinary lane, something I take for granted but I love it. When seasons change it changes to. It takes me places. I hope my children we see the beauty that surrounds them and that they will appreciate it as much as I do.

I used the AMAZING 77 collection from Glitz Design. The patterns are to die for and I was a bit afraid of how to use them but once the background had been cut it came together really fast. I also used a roller stamp to create circles using a circle mask and created my own embellishments by punching out patterned paper which I had stamped onto and then making flowers. I don't know why but the in the photo of the layout the layers don't seem straight but they are.

It's My Life

Finally opened the It's My Life kit from Scraptastic Kit club and it is a FUN one. Lots of bright colours. It just makes me HAPPY. I created this layout using the main kit and add on. There are SO MANY embellishments and labels. I just LOVE them. I played around with some triangles and created layers in the centre. I really love the way it turned out.
