At first I always used my scor pal when making envelopes or boxes and it really works a treat! I am a layout person by heart I was wondering if I could use it on my layouts. I created this layout using the new Dear Lizzy Enchanted Collection and added scored lines to add extra texture and detail. It is so easy and creates a great effect!

Studio Calico March kit

I have really been enjoying working with the Studio Calico kits! This month was no exception. My cameo has also been steaming away and for this layout the starting point was the yellow Echo Park paper which I had used to cut some hexagons out fort another layouts. I thought I would use the cut out as base.

LIFT away!

This weekend was a hectic one. Friday evening the kids' school had their annual fund-raising walk and Saturday evening it was my sister-in-law's birthday. On top of all that my tummy wasn't all to well and I really wanted to get crafty but I didn't have the time. I did manage to squeeze in a layout and a card but I am way behind my schedule. The card and layout are both for the "lift the person above" challenge at My Scrapbook Nook. I really had fun looking through their creations and looking for one I could lift! So with further ado here are my card and layout each time with the original!

I love these soothing but fresh colours and yet again went for small hints of them on a kraft coloured background. I also got Mr Cameo to do some work and cut out small doilies and the title. My wooden element is that wooden "button".

To finish of this post two layouts I made using the March Kit from My Scrapbook Nook. I am so in love with this kit and I would love to make some more layouts but I am running out of papers. SAD!!!! I might manage to make a few more cards!

Spring where are you??

Well, I know it's still a bit of a wait but I was longing for Spring so badly I scrapbooked some pictures from last year. I made this Spring mini tutorial for the Crate Paper blog. Want to see how I made it, hop over there!
