Altenew November 2021 Sparkle and Shine Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

For this hop I created two projects. My first is a DIY box created with the Note For You Stamp and Die Bundle. This bundle is perfect for creating cute little treat boxes and will come in handy with the holiday season around the corner.

To create a similar box you will have to trim some of the sides of the centre panels of the box to make them a little thinner. I used florals from the Calming Bouquet Washi tape as embellishment and added a dainty border cut out with the Creative Edges Lace Die.

To soften the border of the lace die, I added a strip of thin washi tape from the Cherry Blossom Thin Washi Tape Set. This strip goes all around the box given it cohesive look.

My second project is a card created with the Swatches Stencil and the new Frozen Delights Crisp Ink Set. I love the pastel colours in this set.

I used the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set to add detail, stamping some potted plantes over the colour swatch panels. This stencil can be used for cards but also for creating your customs colour swatches with altenew inks or paints.

I created two cards with products from this release using:

Be Kind Die Set
Pop Up Dahlia Die Set

For the first card I painted loose roses and leaves and added doodled lines. I cut out the Be Kind Die in pink and white.

The white background of the Be Kind Die makes the pink stand out. Try out different colours as background to create a variation of effects.

The second card uses the Pop Up Dahlia Die Set. This die set is super fun as it doesn't cut out a full image. It cuts out parts which you can pop up. I picked a colourful patterned and added some black cardstock to add contrast. A sentiment stamp and some doodled hearts finish it off.

This is such a stunning set and offers so many possibilities. I paired it with some wonderful pink washi tape (Pink Watercolor Wide Washi tape) and added a wood veneer flower from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection.

I stamped a couple of roses in pink and teal colours and also created some leaves which I left black. I embossed two pieces of 3*6 inch white cardstock using the Embossing Folder and then blended some pink and teal on top. I used: pinks from Spring Bouquet Ink Set and teals from the Sea Shore Set.

I combined all the elements to create a layout centred around the photo with two cluster elements, a larger one and a smaller one. Each of the clusters contains florals and leaves.

For today's hop I created a card with lots of colour and patterns. I wanted a focal point with some floral embellishments so I created a circle background with the Sphere Stencil. I cut out the die cuts pieces with the Primrose Blossom CAF Die Set and layered them on the sphere design.

I used woodgrain cardstock for extra texture.
