Altenew Scrapbook Collection Blog Hop + Giveaway

12 July 2017

Welcome to the Altenew Scrapbook Collection blog hop. If you are following the hop you have come from Anna Komenda blog. I will be sharing a second layout which I created for this special occasion. You can see the first one on the Altenew Scrapbook blog.

Today we are focusing on our Scrapbook collection, the first one to be released by Altenew and not the last ;).
Here is a look at the collection:

For my layout I used the leftover stars from my first layout (which you can see on the Altenew Scrapbook blog). I then punched out more stars and arranged them around the the circle I drew. I only added some Shimmer mist splatters.

You can watch how it came together here below or on YouTube:

Don't forget we have some offers at the moment.

Citrus Twist June layouts

5 July 2017

Now you would think that when you are on holiday you'd have lots of time to blog and craft. Nope. I have been busy getting the two eldest ready for their summer camp in the South of France and I got the CLEANING bug and had to sort through and clean the whole house (and garden).

We'll be leaving on holiday soon so I'm also creating loads of projects to have those ready while I'm away so blogging has been put on a side line (and I also still doing some school work like ordering books and presenting new tools to the principals). So as usual I'm busy.

I did find the time today to blog about my June layouts for Citrus Twist kits (they are having a DT call if you're interested).

Here are the four layouts I made.

Coffee lovers blog Hop

23 June 2017

Welcome to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Altenew is thrilled to be a sponsor for this amazing hop. We are giving away two gift vouchers worth 30$. One on the Altenew Scrapbook blog and one on the Altenew Card Blog.   I created a layout using the Tea Time set from Altenew. You can find out how to play along by visiting the Coffee Lovers Blog.

To create my layout I started by drawing a circle in the middle of the page and added some doodled circles around it. Then I stamped various images from the stamp set around the circle. For color I used some watercolor pencils.  The title is stamped in the center of the circle. This was really easy to make and the technique can be used on a card too.

The background I used is Altenew Cardstock called Spicy Yoghurt. As embellishments I used some enamel dots which come in the Altenew New Day card kit.

You can see how I made the layout in the video below or you can watch it on YouTube in HD.

Check out our sale on the Coffee Love and Tea Time bundles.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

My layout is based on two colours which came from a piece I cut out from one of the patterned papers from the Reflection Scrapbook collection. I picked ink colours that matched (easy as the colours in the collection match the inks perfectly).

I stamped one flower onto my background paper and the second (green) one I stamped onto some cardstock. Using the die I cut out the flower so that I could place over the green from the patterned paper.
I kept the embellishments really simple.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Happy scrapping.
