I have always loved to learn . My "things to learn" list is really long and I probably won't do everything. One of them was to start an art journal. I was a bit afraid at first but just went a head and started playing with my stash. This is a page I finished today and I had SO MUCH FUN. This is definitely going to be a new part of my daily routine. LOVE scrapbooking and LOVE art journalling. I am still in baby shoes in this domain but my motto is to have fun! I would love to know what you think!

SUMMER VIDEO 1: CC&ILS

During 4 days ColorConspiracy and I lowe scrap have teamed up. Today I'm here to show you another of my layouts but also my first summer video. I thought I'd combine the team up between CC and ILS with this little project of mine. Today's video is all about "my minimalist approach". I will go through a few rules I apply when creating a "minimalist" layout and will also be creating a layout from scratch using ColorConspiracy and I Lowe Scrap products. Now I must inform you I am not a professional and this is purely a hobby and all notions I have are from what I have learnt over the years and are also based on what I like. I think a lot of the artistic rules are quite natural and once you have noticed them you use them instinctively. I had never heard about the "rule of three's" and once I had looked up the concept and looked at my layouts I saw I was already applying it! I hope you like this little tutorial! Tomorrow is ...

Monday and I'll be posting my first video!!! So excited and hope you'll like it! Today I have some sad news to share. Miss Art"s Papercrafting is closing its doors. So sad to see it go. I worked on a class for them and they were my first real teaching videos. As it is closing I am allowed to show my layouts! Here is the first one.It was made for my paint class. Instead of using mists I used paint to create the splatters. I loved using the Basic Grey collection.
