... when I start thinking about winter. I really hate the cold and dislike the rainy and humid days in winter but I LOVE beautiful snowy landscapes and above all I love seeing my boys enjoy the delights of winter. This picture was taken from the kitchen window on a cold winter's day early in the morning with the sun rising. Aren't those colours amazing? I used the brand new POP OF collection from I LOWE SCRAP. I heart this collection so much. The designs are fantastic and the colours just exquisite. They just make me want it to be winter real fast and take loads of pictures of my kids in the snow! Je commence à penser à l'hiver même si j'ai horreur du froid j'adore les paysages enneigés de l'hiver. Cette photo a été prise de notre fenêtre de la cuisine tôt le matin un jour d'hiver très froid! SUMMER VIDEO 1: CC&ILS

During 4 days ColorConspiracy and I lowe scrap have teamed up. Today I'm here to show you another of my layouts but also my first summer video. I thought I'd combine the team up between CC and ILS with this little project of mine. Today's video is all about "my minimalist approach". I will go through a few rules I apply when creating a "minimalist" layout and will also be creating a layout from scratch using ColorConspiracy and I Lowe Scrap products. Now I must inform you I am not a professional and this is purely a hobby and all notions I have are from what I have learnt over the years and are also based on what I like. I think a lot of the artistic rules are quite natural and once you have noticed them you use them instinctively. I had never heard about the "rule of three's" and once I had looked up the concept and looked at my layouts I saw I was already applying it! I hope you like this little tutorial! ColorConspiracy teams up with I lowe scrap

There are some FABULOUS small scrapbooking businesses out there and two of them are ColorConspiracy and I lowe scrap. One is French the other Polish. Fresh, fun and that little bit different and that's what I LOVE!!! So what better way to celebrate them than by teaming up. Yes, both brands have become very close and the Design teams got to work with collections from both. FUN FUN FUN!!! From June 30th until July 3rd they will be sharing projects made by the DT girls. I lowe scrap

J'adore ces deux marques. Un peu différente, très colorée et juste magnifique. Donc de quoi le plus logique que de se réunir. Pendant 4 jours CC et ILS vont vous présenter les créations des filles membre des deux DT. Deux marques qui se marient à merveille. For my layout I started by priming the cardstock with gesso. Then misted it using a mask, added some stamps, doodled and used the 6*31 strip from ILW. I also cut out the label from one of the journalling cards. I used a die cut and a badge from CC and I really love how it looks!
