Altenew July 2022 Summer Sunshine Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

1 July 2022

Welcome to the Summer Sunshine Blog Hop with Altenew. If you have hopped over from Therese Calvird's blog you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Blog

Summer is finally here and after a very tiring and heavy couple of months, I hope this summer break will give my family and I some time to recuperate. My dad's passing hit us so hard and every day is still filled with lots of sadness but we are able to enjoy being together. One of our favourite activities is just relaxing in the garden with a refreshing drink. The Mod Fruit Bowl Stamp set reminds me of those cool refreshing drinks and it's the perfect stamp to create a summery card.

Supplies:

  • Mod Fruit Bowl Stamp Set
  • Precision pen
  • Altenew Obsidian Black Ink
  • Maple Yellow and Fresh Lemon Crisp Inks (from the Pocketful of Sunshine set)
  • Just Green and Firefly (from the Green Meadows Set)
  • Yellow Cardstock
  • White Smooth Cardstock

How to:
  1. Stamp the larger lemon in the bottom left hand corner.
  2. Add smaller stamps around it. You can do the whole card base or just one corner. Another option is to stamp two opposite corners. The possibilities are endless.
  3. Doodle lines around the edges.
  4. Add a sentiment.
  5. Cut a small strip of yellow cardstock and adhere it to the cardstock for a pop of colour.

What has caught your eye in this collection? It is hard to choose when there are so many pretty products. Don't forget to comment to enter the giveaway.

I love the card you made with the mod fruit bowl. I sometimes struggle with a clean and simple look but I do love the look of it. Thank you for being an inspiration to me.
