Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Carnations & Woodless Watercolor Pencils Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

22 October 2020

Welcome to the Paint-A-Flower Sunflower Release Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from Tenia Nelson's blog you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog.
Today's release is super fun for several reasons. The first is the Sunflower PAF Stamp. I love sunflowers and they are some of my favourite flowers. I love how majestic they are. The second reason, I love this release so much is the new Woodless Watercolor pencils. You'll have to be quick and grab some here or sign up to be notified as Altenew only has a limited number for the release.

I created a fun card with the pencils and the Sunflower Stamp Set. Instead of colouring the stamped image I only added colour to the centres. I cut off part of the cardstock, making sure to cut around the stamped images.

On a piece of watercolour paper, I created a gradient look with the Woodless Watercolor Pencils. I blended the colours together with water and adhered my stamped panel to it adding a strip of glitter paper for some extra detail. To tie the two panels together I added in some dots following the colour scheme of my gradient.

I love the PAF sets and they are my favourite stamps as they really incite me to try out new colouring and crafting technique. Don't forget to check out the monthly subscription plan
