Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Tulip Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

15 June 2020

Welcome to the Craft-A-Flower Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from blog of the amazingly talented Virginia Lu  then you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog.

Altenew has started a new subscription package called the Craft-a-Flower. These sets are released monthly and celebrate the beauty of a wide variety of flowers! Each set includes all the pieces you need to create a multi-layered floral arrangement, inspired by our popular 3D flower dies. All you need to add is coloured cardstock and a die cutting machine.

This month the TULIP is being featured.

This is a card I created with the set. I decided to use patterned papers instead of gradient coloured cardstock and also went with a different look for the leaves.

For the leaves I didn't add the layering pieces as I really wanted the polka dot pattern to shine. For the tulip flower itself I chose some pink and red patterned paper. I love the look of the black and the pink/red flower.

What I really love about these sets is that you can create a more traditional look or go in a completely different direction. The possibilities are endless.

Prizes:

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win. They'll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 06/23/2020.

Your next stop is the super talented Maryam Perez.
