Today's release is probably my favourite because it features one of my favourite Altenew products: WASHI TAPE.
For my layout I used the following selection of tapes:
- Painted Dots Washi Tape
- Rose Petal Washi Tape
- Painted Grid Washi tape
How to:
- Line up strips of Rose Petal Washi Tape on some smooth cardstock. I overlapped the edges about 1/8" of an inch and started with the lightest colours working my way towards the darkest shade going back to light.
- Cut strips of the newly created background.
- Place them on your project in alternating directions to create a "woven" look.
- Add contrasting tape to either side.
- Choose a photo and fun embellishments. I cut out some flower shapes from papers from the 6X6 Alluring Blooms Paper Pack.
