Altenew Build-A-Flower: Fuchsia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

1 October 2019

Welcome to the Build-A-Flower October Blog Hop and Giveaway. This month's BAF set is Fushia. It is a dainty set that will give you many options for your projects. If you have hopped over from LauraJane 's blog you are right on track. You can always start the hop on the Altenew Card Blog.

I didn't know where to start with this set and had no ideas for a card or a layout so I decided to create a piece I could frame. First I created some watercolour circles using the Altenew Watercolor Brush Refills. Once they were dry I stamped the Fuchsia images in similar colours making sure that they would slightly overlap with the watercoloured circles. A sentiment finished off my piece. Now all I have to do is find a matching frame

If you love our BAF sets, Altenew has a monthly subscription plan for our Build-A-Flower set. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in our monthly BAF releases and will receive a set each month - at a specially discounted price! ($35.00 →$29.99). Click on the image below to join.

Prizes:
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog for a chance to win.

They'll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 10/7/2019.

Your next stop is Mindy Eggen.

Wow this is a different take on using this set. Just shows that sometimes you just have to start something on a page and see what develops. Lovely.

Lilith I love the way you think outside the box. The colours & the simplicity of this piece along with that meaningful statement make this a fabulous piece of art. It doesn't have to be complicated to be beautiful.
