Altenew August 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

8 August 2019

Welcome to the August Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from Laura Volpes's blog then you are right on track. You can start the hop on the Altenew Card Blog.

For today's hop, I created a card using my Misti tool to create a symmetrical look. This is really easy to do with a stamping tool.

How to:

  1. Place your white piece of card (4.25" by 5.5") in the corner of your stamping tool.
  2. Place the stamp in the correct position in the opposite corner. I decided to let the image drop over the edge.
  3. Stamp the first layer then flip the card 180° and stamp the same image in the opposite corner.$
  4. Stamp your second image and flip again.
  5. Continue until you are done.

By using the stamping tool, you will not have to remove the image from your tool. All you need to do is flip the cardstock. This process will help you speed up cardmaking especially if you need to create a whole batch of cards.

Prizes:
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 6 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog by 8/14/2019 for a chance to win.

We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $20 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew blogs on 8/17/2019.
