Altenew August 2018 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

16 August 2018

Welcome to the August Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop and Giveaway. If you have hopped over from Norine Borys's blog you are right on track. You can start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog

Today I'll be sharing a layout I created with the Block Print Stamp set. I just love the versatility of this set and there are so many different design possibilities, ranging from embossing to resist techniques. I opted to use simple stamping with a variety of patterns and an array of colours. I created my own background leaving a strip blank as white space.

I added a couple of coordinating embellishments which I found in my embellishment bowls and which come from previous projects.  I like breaking up the vertical and horizontal lines with more round elements such as circles or butterflies. It creates balance.

For the title I worked with the Mega Ampersand Die and the word HAPPY from the Script Words die set.

I also have a giveaway up for grabs.
I'm giving away a 30$ gift voucher to the Altenew store. All you have to do is leave a comment. I’ll pick a luck winner on the 22nd. What is your favourite from this release?

Next stop is:
Nancy McClelland

Have fun hopping and happy scrapping.
