I have been on the Altenew Scrapbook Design Team for nearly 2 years and it has been such an amazing experience.
Altenew has supported me in so many ways and I have been able to grow my business because of their support. I still enjoy using their products as much as in the beginning and at each release I am inspired to try out new techniques.
For this anniversary blog hop I created a layout using one of my favourite dies: HALFTONE STARS DIE. I love using it with the coordinating stamps but it is also a great on it own.
I cut out some stars using my large Big Shot die cut machine which can take a 8.5 by 11 inch paper. I popped that onto some foam tape and then added a photo behind one of the shapes.
I used enamel dots from the Our Family Scrapbook collection to fill up two of the stars and popped some of the journal cards from the same collection beneath two others. On one of the cut outs I also added some enamel dots to change it up a bit.
Some star die cuts finish off the layout. I used the sentiments from the Halftone Stars set to add journalling and my title was made with the Script Words die set.

Wow! I was scrapbook years and years ago but had to pack it all away to make room for my growing family. Out of sight, out of mind. I have only attempted to do a scrapbook once years ago and it wasn't even close in comparison to yours. But my son loved every page and that made me happy. Your star page is beautiful as are the cluster of floral pages at the beginning.
