Welcome to the YEAR IN REVIEW BLOG HOP here at Altenew. I can't believe 2017 has come to end. It has been a year with its ups and downs but like every year I come out stronger. I have loved working with each Altenew release and I am starting to dab into the world of card making.

I have also enjoyed making new friends through this hobby. It is amazing to see how crafting can bring people together.

Build-a-flower: Carnation and giveaway

This month's build-a-flower set features a beautiful carnation. I love this set and I created two cards with it. I started with a classic design and added some detail by embossing the kraft card base. As I has some leaves left over I thought I'd create a second card. I created a Christmas card turning my leaf into a Christmas tree.

Have you hopped over from the blog my crafty crush Lydia Fielder well you are right on track. This month's release is SUPER FUN because we have a NEW PRODUCT. A mini die cut machine. It is sooooo cute.

I created a very simple project using the Frosted Garden stamp set and the Brush stroke die. I used I text I wrote on a training course about AUTO-LOUANGE (French word meaning "Self-Praise"). I was a wonderful experience and I love creating texts like this. This was my first one. I thought it would me nice to frame it.
One of the phrases I say regularly to keep calm: I am the lullaby in stormy winds.

Altenew blog hops are fun for several reasons. The first is that there is a TON of inspiration and the second it that there are lots of AWESOME prizes.
