Today I would like to show I layout I created with the Truly Madly Deeply February kit from Scraptastic Kit Club. I wanted to focus on my realtionship with my husband and how we tend to forget about it as we are so busy with the kids. As parents we really want what is best for our children and sometimes we forget that we need to work on other relationships too such as the one with our spouse. I am determined to make more time for us as a couple this year. My first objective: taking more pictures of the two of us!
The layout was also inspired by Stephanie Howell's class over on BPS: The Ties That Bind. I love this self paced class so much. It focuses on what is really important: our relationships and documenting them through scrapbooking.

Oh, gorgeous. I love how you used the big chevron paper, stitching through it like that.
Me and my husband don't get much quality time together either, but we try and have a 'date night' at least once a month - we just stay at home as we can't afford to go out. We just have a nice meal after the kids have gone to bed, and watch a film, making sure we've turned off our smartphones and computers! x
