American Crafts and misting

8 May 2012

I love misting and I always use some kind of mist on my layouts even if it is only to add some splatters. I who really love white space layouts mists add that little something without taking up any of the white space. This week is mist week over at the AC blog. Please do stop by and leave a comment because you could win some of these:
Des mists, je les utilise souvent. Cette semaine ils sont le thème sur le blog de American Crafts.  Laisser un commentaire car vous pourriez les gagner.

I created this layout using some mists and a toilet-paper roll. The roll enables to create circles without getting all messy. Simple and easy! I made a layout a few months ago using the same technique with a video. You can check it out here
Voici ma page, sur la quelle j'ai créé des cercles en utilisant un rouleau de papier toilette. J'avais fait un video il y a quelque temps montrant cette technique.

Supplies: Kraft (71464) – AC Cardstock, Strawberry Spread Paper (35667) – Freshly Squeezed, Plum Schmear Paper (35665) – Freshly Squeezed, Rasberry Jam Paper (35661) – Freshly Squeezed, Layered Tags (77289) – Bits, Value 24 pack (58817) – Premium Ribbon, Embossing Powder White (27124) – Zing!, Wood Buttons (85575) – Elements, Palette (42240) – Remarks, Draft Stamps (59161) – Clear Stamps

And then this simple cute card! I used a cut out from my cameo (American Crafts hearts from the silhouette shop) and misted over that using a polka dot mask.
Et pour terminer une petite carte faite utilisant le technique du mask.

Supplies: 6x6 Sketchbook Paper Pad (35696) – Sketchbook, Draft Stamps (59161) – Clear Stamps, Flat-Top Fabric Brads (85578) – Elements, Value 24 Pack (58817) – Premium Ribbon, Taffy (59522) – Pigment Ink; Other: Dear Lizzy Heart Circles Cutting File from Silhouette
