Cards

14 May 2012

For quite some time I really didn't like making them and now I am making more and more. I made these two using Crate Paper and my SwissGirlDesigns stamps. Love how they turned out.

Quelques cartes toutes en Crate Paper et des tampons SwissGirlDesigns.

The brads are fromm MME.

Happy Monday and see you soon.

Happy Mother's Day

13 May 2012

A quick post to wish all those mother's out there a woderful Mother's Day!

made with the May My Scrapbook Nook kit!

This is what I got on mother's day (Sorry but I speak Dutch to my kids and they answer in French)
The two oldest just mumble!

Hectic

11 May 2012

is the word I would use right now to describe my life. Well it's always hectic when you have got kids and a job but now it has just doubled in proportion. Exams are just around the corner and I know I am not the one having to study for them but I do have to get those teenagers I teach ready. Having 4 (extremely friendly and really hardworking) student teachers  is not helping as I really need to get on with things in the classroom. It might be busy but I still managed to squeeze in some scrap time and will try to find some more in the weekend because two boxes just arrived on my doorstep today. Here's what I made with the YUMMY May grab bag from My scrapbook Nook. I really wouldn't have bought this line from Echo Paper but it is fabulous. So lucky to have the Nook kits!!  I added some vellum and washi tape from Freckled fawn.

Just because

9 May 2012

I was in the mood I scrapped a picture of Elouan when he was only 2 days old. I just can't believe how he has grown. This morning he got dressed all by himself. The others couldn't do that at 2,5! I used the Dear Lizzy Enchanted line, lots of cameo cut outs and some SwissGirlDesign Stamps. It is hard to see on the picture but in the top left hand corner I cut out the word "words" in some vellum.

Oh I also got my hands on some "with Love" washi tape from Freckled Fawn! LOVE it!

American Crafts and misting

8 May 2012

I love misting and I always use some kind of mist on my layouts even if it is only to add some splatters. I who really love white space layouts mists add that little something without taking up any of the white space. This week is mist week over at the AC blog. Please do stop by and leave a comment because you could win some of these:
Des mists, je les utilise souvent. Cette semaine ils sont le thème sur le blog de American Crafts.  Laisser un commentaire car vous pourriez les gagner.

I created this layout using some mists and a toilet-paper roll. The roll enables to create circles without getting all messy. Simple and easy! I made a layout a few months ago using the same technique with a video. You can check it out here
Voici ma page, sur la quelle j'ai créé des cercles en utilisant un rouleau de papier toilette. J'avais fait un video il y a quelque temps montrant cette technique.

Supplies: Kraft (71464) – AC Cardstock, Strawberry Spread Paper (35667) – Freshly Squeezed, Plum Schmear Paper (35665) – Freshly Squeezed, Rasberry Jam Paper (35661) – Freshly Squeezed, Layered Tags (77289) – Bits, Value 24 pack (58817) – Premium Ribbon, Embossing Powder White (27124) – Zing!, Wood Buttons (85575) – Elements, Palette (42240) – Remarks, Draft Stamps (59161) – Clear Stamps

And then this simple cute card! I used a cut out from my cameo (American Crafts hearts from the silhouette shop) and misted over that using a polka dot mask.
Et pour terminer une petite carte faite utilisant le technique du mask.
