Being at home with clogged up ears and throbbing sinuses can have advantages. I have been scrapping today just to get my mind off the pain in my sinuses. I opened my February kit from My Scrapbook Nook and boy I LOVE it. I just love the Sarsaparilla line from October afternoon. Fits my boys perfectly. Here's one of the two layouts I made today. The other I'll show later on! 

Etre à la maison malade peut avoir des avantages. Pour ne pas trop penser à la douleur des mes sinus j'ai scrappé un peu aujourd'hui. J'ai commencé à utiliser mon kit de février de My Scrapbook Nook et j'ADORE!!!!

and more to show! First my three cards made for the American Crafts blog. I really enjoy making them but they take me so much longer to create than a layout. On all three cards I used stamps from American Crafts. For the first one I used a leftover of a punch out circle and used it as mask. For the second I used the JARED stamp. I tried to create a 3D effect by layering the same stamp but using different shapes! For the last one I used some cute border stamps!

Where to start

besides being really ill for the very first time since a long time, well it's my turn to be introduced on Rahel's blog as member of her DT. I made this layout about myself and especially about my weight loss and how that has changed so much in my life. Just loved the SEW HAPPY stamp set and found it fitted the theme perfectly! I also used the JOURNAL YOUR THOUGHTS Clear stamps

Apart le fait je suis vraiment horriblement malade ( cela faisait bien longtemps), j'ai quand même des choses à vous montrer! Aujourd'hui c'était à mon tour d'être présentée sur le blog de Rahel en tant que membre de sa DT. J'ai fait cette page avec les tampons SEW HAPPY pour parler des changement que j'ai connus en 2011 (surtout mon look).

Then on the COLORSCONSPIRACY blog there is a great challenge. As member of the DT I played along but adapted the challenge a bit. Instead of making a shaker, I filled a bag with confetti. Yep, got the confetti bug as well (a lot nicer than the other one I have ). And I also decided to make a video but this time it's in French. So for all those French speaking girls, this is for you (but you can also watch if you don't speak French!!!) 

Puis un super challenge sur le blog de Colorsconspiracy. Kyopuce a fabriqué des cartes merveilleuses remplies de surprises. J'ai modifié l'idée et j'ai rempli un petit sachet en calque avec des confetti. N'hésitiez pas d'y aller faire un tour.  Je sais que tous mes videos sont en anglais donc pour celui ci j'ai fait un effort et c'est en français. Désolée pour mon accent et parfois la non connaissance de certains noms (et aussi pour les fautes masculin-féminin).

Be mine

I believe in showing your love all the time but I do love Valentine's Day. I just makes it extra special. Even though DH and I don't do anything special I always make him something. This year is no different. I made a frame with some of my favourite pictures of him. It was also my first project for CRATE PAPER and I got to work with the Paper Heart Collection which is just stunning. And just because I had sometime I filmed the whole process. Please do tell me what you think of the video. 

J'adore faire des petits cadeaux pour mon mari et j'en fais chaque année pour Saint Valentin. Voici un cadre que j'ai faite pour Crate Paper. Il y a aussi un petit video avec. Pour le moment il n'est qu'en anglais.
