I had so much fun creating with the washit tapes. I think they are my favourite product of all time. I love the different size and the design are right up my alley. I could have kept on creating but had to stop.

My first project was a card. I used the Leaf washi tape and created a background for the card. I cut out the parrot shape using the die from Parrot Paradise. Then I added a stamped and coloured image that I had created some time ago but never used. I also used the Golden Edge Washi tape to add some gold touches.

For my layout I did LOTS and LOTS of fussy cutting. I used the Painted Orchids Washi Tape. How did I make the layout? You can find out in the video below.

The layout is actually very simple. The only part which takes a bit of time is the cutting of the flowers.

The SUMMER card was made on one of my Facebook Lives which you can watch here (technique starts at 35:29) if you want.

I also had some labels laying around from a project I created some time ago. I love these labels from the Dot Label Set. The sentiments are from the Charmed Stamp Set. I also quickly made a card with the leftovers. I love creating a layout and then making a card with a similar feel. I always feel a little lost when it comes to cards but when I make them after having created a layout I have more ideas and it is less daunting.

Refresh Your Alcohol Markers Blog Hop + Giveaway

Welcome to the Refresh Your Altenew Alcohol Markers blog hop and giveaway. If you have come from Erica A-B's blog you are right on track.

I was so excited to get my marker refills as some of them were really drying up. It is so easy to do as well.

I created a mini book cover by combing the Pattern Play Diamond set.

How To:

First I stamped the image with permanent black ink.
Then I used a dot technique with my markers to add colour.

This was such a fun process. Really relaxing and I didn't have to be overly concentrated on blending or getting the colouring right.

STAMPtember with Simon Says Stamp & GIVEAWAY

Happy Monday every one. I hope you had a lovely weekend. Mine was spent resting as I have a nasty cold (I haven't had one in YEARS). It must be all those back to school germs. I'm feeling a little better and just need a couple more days to feel 100%.

Today I'm sharing a card I made with the Altenew STAMPtember® 2018 Limited Edition Exclusive Dainty Spring for Simon Says Stamp. I really love how it turned out.

I used the Sweet Dreams and Red Cosmos mini cubes for the flowers and coloured the leaves with the green shades from the Green Fields Artist Markers set.

This set is just perfect if you want to whip up a quick card.

Welcome to the September 2018 Holiday Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop. If you have come from Vicky Papaioannou's blog then you are right on track. You can also start the hop over on the Altenew Card Blog .

On the Scrapbook Blog I created a non holiday related layout but for my blog I decided to go with the Christmas theme and created a decor piece.

I used the Holiday Bow set and stamped and cut out different images.

For the background I pulled out some traditional coloured cardstock. From the green paper I cut out the Cozy Flannel cover and popped it onto some red cardstock.

I layered my different elements together into the frame. I decided not to use the glass frame so that I could add some dimension and it also enabled me to let certain elements flow over the wood.
