Today's post is just a little bit nostalgic. I have the Belgian nationality but spent my childhood in South Africa (in Waterfall, Kwazulu Natal). When my parents said we were going back to Belgium, our country of origin I felt really awkward as I had always seen myself as South African. Still today I see it as my homeland and there are days I miss it tremendously. My home is with my loved ones but part of my heart is still there! I came across a photo of me and it triggered those memories of my childhood days to pop up. I thought I'd use the photo on a layout.
I chose to play with the Valentine's collection from Crate Paper. I LOVE that map patterned paper and the colours in this line are divine! The little stamp arrow from EVALICIOUS is my new favourite! Un peu de nostalgie dans le post d'aujourd'hui. En triant mes photo je suis tombé sur celle-ci de moi étant petite. Elle m'a fait pensé à l'époque où je vivais en Aftique du Sud. Le retour a été dur, et encore maintenant ce pays me manque.
