On Friday night Tweety, hosted a live scrapnight on the CSAvenue forum. Unfortunately I couldn't play along as the kids soccer club had their yearly dinner night and the kids didn't want to miss seeing SAINT NICOLAS. Yes here in Belgium, the children get spoilt on 6 December and the 25th of December is more a family event without presents. Anyway, here's my page for the challenge (which I made toady) and some pictures of the kids with he who shall spoil them again this year.

Hip September and October projects

I really love the kits from Hip2bSquarescrapbooking. They are always packed full of gorgeous papers and layouts. As I often lean towards a clean and simple style I always have lots of stuff left over for more projects. Here is a card I made with the September kit and a mini album. I love this format, an idea from Giniew. 

Un petit mot en français. Voici plusieurs réas faites avec les kits septembre et Octobre de Hip2bsquarescrapbooking. J'adore ces kits. D'abord une carte et un mini (format de Giniew) avec le kit de septembre, et puis une série de réas avec le kit de octobre. Ma préféré (pas du tout CS) est celle en orange avec les papiers déchirés. Merci pour vos gentils commentaires qui me font tellement de plaisir.

 

And then my October layouts. I loved the Halloween related papers and embellishments. I even managed to make a banner.

 The following I just love. Not my normal style but I don't think I have one.

 A simple banner, but I love it. It is hanging in my office/scraproom and I love reading these sayings.

 This double page was based on a sketch by Melanie J. another member of the Hip DT. I love her sketches. And yes, there are 2 pictures of me. I really like these ones.

Forgotten ...

I have lots of layouts to show but as long as they aren't on the Hip2bsquarescrapbooking blog, I can't show you (although I am dying to as there are a few I really like). Anyway, I did find this layout hiding in one of the many files on my computer. So here it is. I love how Elouan is sitting on his daddy's shoulders. All of my boys loved it, I think it's because they get to see the world from a different perspective. Have a lovely Sunday.

J'ai beaucoup de pages à montrer mais quant qu'elles ne sont pas publiées sur le blog de Hip2bsqaurescrapbooking, je ne peux pas. J'ai trouvé cette page cachée dans mes dossiers sur l'ordi et je l'adore, tout simplement parce que j'aime la photo de Elouan et son papa. Tous nos enfants ont aimé aller sur les épaules de papa.

Christmas is coming

Yes it is and the proof is the gorgeous November kit at Hip2bsquarescrapbooking which is packed with yummy Christmas goodies. I am already thinking about projects with this kit knowing that I still have to finish my layouts with the October kit. I have been busy and can already show you some sneak peeks of some of my layouts made for the September and October kit. As soon as they are on the Hip blog I will post them here. Unlock your story.

Sometimes I know I shouldn't sign up for new scrapbooking projects as I don't have that much time. Being a mum to 4 boys, a wife, a housewife and a part time teacher I sometimes wonder when I find the time to scrap. When I saw Elizabeth Kartchner was going to hold an online course I didn't even hesitate. I am so glad I took part. I still have to add my journaling but I don't know if it's going to be in French or English (maybe even Dutch). I might mix the lot as they are the three languages I use daily A big thank you to you ,Elizabeth (if you drop by) for this great class. I had a wonderful time and I am waiting for the next one. I also wanted to wish you and Collin all the best with the birth of your third child. I know how special these moments are.

And here are some pictures of my mini book. I am so sorry for the quality, but the last few days  theweather has been stormy and everything is tinged in grey, so taking photos isn't easy.  Thanks for looking. Have a lovely weekend.

Hip2bsquare September kit

I didn't think I would get the September kit. I think it went around the world but it did eventually arrive. Now I have to make my layouts with the September and the October kit. I hope the creative juices will keep flowing. I am always afraid to run out of inspiration. Here are three layouts I made with the September kit. The first based on a layout from 6àlamaison, the second I made using a sketch and number three a little reminder how Elouan was a year ago. How time flies. I'll be back.

Je ne pensais plus recevoir mon kit de Septembre mais après un petit tour du monde il est enfin arrivé. Tout de suite je me suis mise au boulot et voici trois pages. Une un lift de 6àlamaison, une deuxième basée sur un sketch et le troisième un souvenir de mon petit dernier avec une photo de l'an dernier.

Christmas?

I know it's only the beginning of November but I am already itching to start decorating the house and get started on my cards. Here's the first card using Cosmo Cricket products. I just love those Mitten Weather papers.

Et oui, je pense déjà à noël. J'adore cette période. Voici une petite carte faite pour cette occasion.
