Altenew& Ellen Hutson UWF Poppy Field Blog Hop

24 September 2017

Welcome to the Altenew& Ellen Hutson UWF Poppy Field Blog Hop. If you have come from Carissa Wiley's blog then you are right on track.

Today the Poppy Flieds Stamp and die set is up for grabs and it is such a pretty set.

Prizes:
To celebrate two randomly selected commenters will win a $30 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson shop and two commenters will win a $30 gift certificate to the Altenew shop. To enter just leave a comment on the Ellen Hutson Classroom blog or the Altenew blog by 12pm PST on Wednesday, September 27th.

I created a layout using the set and die. The die was used as mask when stamping the flowers. I kept the layout really simple and only added a couple of die cut leaves from the Altenew Fanstasy Floral die set. For the ink colors I went with the Red Sunset set and the Green fields set from Altenew.

To finish off the layout I used some Rouge Crisp ink that I watered down and splattered over the layout.

Your next stop is the amazingly talented:

So wonderful. This layout is very simple, but that doesn't mean there wasn't a lot of work in it! One thing about paper crafting is that I have learned that the simplest techniques don't translate to 'fast"! Thank you for sharing your process.
