BOO

30 October 2012

Tomorrow is Halloween! Now, I am not a big fan of Halloween. I dislike anything horribly scary but I am starting to like it when it is in small doses. Think of me as "she who likes cute Halloween things". The kids love it and we'll will be doing our village tour tomorrow. I'll be dressing up (if I have time) as a cute scary witch. I'll be looking after the youngest kids aged 3 to 6 so I don't want to scare them off. Talking about Halloween, here are two little projects I made using some of the New PUMPKIN PATCH line from American Crafts. I made a treat bag (which I use as part of my deco) and a paper pumpkin.

And just to add to the Halloween spirit what about a song. Love this one from Pentatonix.

So once Halloween is over, I'm in Christmas mood and Christmas means December Daily. Mine will probably not be daily and I tend not to call it that either as it pressures me into taking pictures everyday and DD is supposed to be fun and a no pressure thing for me. If I get to take pictures everyday great,  if not, that won't be a big deal! So here is the cover and the inside of the cover. I kept it simple with colours I really love at the moment. Last year my DD was yellow and grey. This year it'll be aqua, grey with splashes of pink/red. I'll be working on the pages this week and hope to have it ready by next week. I'll only have to add photos, journalling and some embellishments.
Une fois Halloween terminé, il faut penser à Noël et pour moi ce là veut dire préparer mon December Daily. Voici la couverture et l'intérieur de celle-ci.

 LOVE those Thickers!!!!!

And as you can see I have added some feathers! Loving feathers lately!

Hope to see you soon and have a happy Halloween.
I am also praying for all my friends and so many other Americans that have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. Please stay safe and hope you are OKAY!

I'm with you, not a huge fan of halloween. At least not enough to buy halloween lines so I used ready set go to make a trick or treat layout from a couple years ago when my son was still young enough to trick or treat! Love the beginnings of your Christmas mini. Can't wait to see more!

I love the cover, both sides! Great unconventional color choices and your studio cuts add some great dimension. Do you build you DD from a kit or do you make your own? Just curious.

A bientôt,
Carole
