Me time

21 September 2012
As much as I love my work I really need some me time every day even if it is only half an hour. Being a teacher means lots of work at home and as I like things to be done well I tend to spend too much time in my books and lesson plans. Being creative helps me relax and has also made me discover who I am. After years of being insecure and timid I can finally say that I have found who I am. A layout just to remind myself that I CAN and all I have to do is believe in myself! This layout was created during that oh so needed "me time". When creating this layout I had Crate's colour challenge from this month in mind.
Une petite page pour me rappeler que peux faire des grandes choses. Il faut juste que j'y crois! Page faite pour le combo du mois chez Crate Paper.

I love your LO and the story about finding yourself through scrapbooking is one that I can relate to. When I first started scrapbooking, I would mumble it under my breath when talking to friends and family. Now I can say it out loud and talk about it with enthusiasm because it has bought so much in to my life and in turn I have become a better and happier person.

Great layout. The gold misting and all the layers are gorgeous! And you look fabulous! Can totally relate to that feeling of insecurity. So glad to hear you are feeling more self-assured.
