Monday video time

6 August 2012

I was wondering what I'd talk about this week and them some lovely ladies (thanks Wendy and Petra) helped me a little by replying to a post on FB! So this week will about LAYERING AND POP! Now I attempted a different approach to the videoing and instead of taping myself explain I thought I'd show pictures of previous layouts and comment on them using my microphone. Only problem is that my microphone is crap (sorry!). So please excuse the hissing and spitting sounds. It was a bit better one I had popped a sock over the mike but still. Will have to go shopping! There is a little surprise right at the end of the video for a lady I admire and her 4 chicks!
Je me demandais de quoi j'allais parler aujourd'hui et deux amis m'ont aidé un peu. Les thèmes: layering (technique de disposition en couches) and pop (faire ressortir des éléments).

And just to end in a fun way: meet this fellow who found its way into our living room and decided to land on me while I was closing the curtains. After the toad (can read about it here)  now a bat. I might just open a nature reserve in my backyard!

Thank you so much for sharing your process! I found it fascinating to see what made the cut and what ended up discarded. That bat is very cute!

I clicked over here from the comment you left on Stephanie's blog and all I can say is WOW. Your blog is amazing and your scrapbook pages are sublimely beautiful. So, so original and gorgeous. I wouldn't even know where to begin to try to scraplift them!

love all your tips Lilith and watching you create was wonderful. You make it look so much easier than it actually is. I try that and mine never looks like yours.

I would of freaked out had that bat landed on me.
