American Crafts Blog hop

17 September 2011

Hi there everybody. As promised some AC fun in the form of a blog hop. If this is your first stop , go to the American Crafts blog to start hopping. Did you see the prize? You should be coming from the talented Leslie Ashe.
Well, all DT members were asked to make a layout using all 5 new lines.
Easy, yes and no. I started combining and said "this is easy" but then I saw I didn't have anything from the HOLLYDAY line. Can you spot it in my layout??? Leave me a comment on this post by Wednesday 21st September and I'll randomly pick a winner who will get this lot of embellishments from the Nightfall collection (leave a comment even if you don't spot the Hollyday product!!!) :
And here's my layout with a video showing how it was made from start to finish. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Products: Café Iris paper (35541) - Garden Café, Wanderlust paper (35548) - Amy Tangerine, Get around paper (35561) - Amy Tangerine, Fall leaves (35530) - Nightfall, Moonlit night paper (35510) - Nightfall, Goodness slate (53249) - Thickers, Amy letter stickers (42212) - Remarks books, Maple pineapple (53221) – Thickers, Love struck (59151) - stamps, Savor small (42210) – Remarks books, Basic adhesive chalk labels (42208) – Remarks, Friends (42228) – Remarks, Biscotti (72018) – Delights, Variety buttons (85558) – Elements.

You're next stop is: MANDY KOEPPEN

Love how your 2-pager turned out. The pictures really tell a great story, and I love how you've accented the pages with all the yummy AC goodies. I think the one white button is from Hollydays? (OK, I had to peek at the video twice just to figure it out. ;) ).
Fabulous page - so interesting to watch your process. And it's nice to know that I'm not the only one who pulls staples out from her projects once in a while. :)

Melanie said...

I love watching your process on your video--thanks! I also love now "random" the placement of your page elements. I always seem to want to line up everything on my page. As for your question, I'm guessing that since I didn't see you place the green button on the video, the green button on the right side of the right hand page is the product from the Hollyday line. Thanks again!
